UAE economy grows 0.4% in first half as non-oil sectors expand
JEDDAH: The UAE economy grew 0.4 percent in the first half of 2026 to 961.9 billion dirhams ($262 billion), with non-oil activities expanding 1.8 percent and accounting for 79.2 percent of gross domestic product, official data showed. The growth came despite a 2.1 percent year-on-year contraction in real GDP in the second quarter, when output reached 476.9 billion dirhams.
